Craft Breweries Unite for Cancer Relief
A chance to shave your hair for charity, plus 100% of beer sales donated to CANSA
Beerworks is proud to host the inaugural Craft Brewery Charity Drive for Cancer Relief. A Tap Takeover for Charity is taking place on Saturday, 19th April (Easter Saturday) and some of South Africa’s finest craft breweries are donating kegs for this worthwhile cause.
Brews from Beerworks, Soul Barrel, The Kennel Brewery, Charlie’s Garage, HopMan (4 Degrees), The Local Brewing, Woodstock Brewery, 400 Brewing Company (Spinal Tap) will be on offer. More participating breweries will be announced closer to the event.
Money paid for every pint sold on the day goes directly to CANSA. Plus, you can have your hair shaved or sprayed for charity, or just make a donation and keep your flowing locks intact! Every contribution makes a difference.
We hope this is just the beginning of an annual, nationwide movement where breweries across South Africa come together for a shared cause. Great beer is even better when it makes a difference.
Whether you’re a beer lover ready to support a worthy cause, a brewery looking to donate kegs or a business interested in sponsorship, we’d love to hear from you. Contact Hester at [email protected] or WhatsApp 061 533 6622
